NTUF extends support to Nov 8 protest call

JAMMU: JK National Trade Union Front (NTUF) extended full support to the call given by the  Government  Employees Need Base Causal Labours, Workers and Pensioners United Platform on 8th  November for the  settlement of genuine demands of employees’ fraternity. While addressing press  conference here on Sunday,  State President of JKNTUF, Mohammad Gafoor Dar along with Rajnder  Kumar, Nazir Ahmed Molvi, Raj  Singh, Vikram Jeet Singh and Ramesh Singh leaders of the  Front have jointly endorsed the protest call given by  the Employee United Platform of various trade  unions on 8th November in front of Divisional Commissioner  Office Jammu to press the State  Government for immediate settlement of the demands viz regularisation policy  for need base causal labours of all the departments engaged after 1994 Implementation of Seventh Pay  Commission from January 2016 at par with Central Government employees. Dar appealed to State Government  employees, public sector workers and casual labours of all the departments to assemble under the banner of  United Platform and participate in the protest on 8th November outside Divisional Commissioner Office Jammu for immediate settlement of the issues. Others who were present in the press conference include Karan  Singh, Haji Parvaz Iqbal Peranditta, Vijay Choudhry, Ranjeet Singh Rana, Yashpal, L.K Datta, Joginder Pal and  Naresh Sharma. 

PHE Mechanical and Civil Field Staff Workers Welfare Union, Jammu Province decided to support the protest call given by Employees United Platform 2016 on 8th November. Union President, Balbder Raj said that the burning issues of the employees as well as the daily wagers will be settled only if all the employees stand united. Varun Sharma, the General Secretary of the Association appealed to all the PHE employees and workers to reach the Divisional Commissioner Office Jammu and make the demonstration a success.
