Removal of ceiling of PLB to the Railwaymen – Com. Shiva Gopal Mishra writes to Railway Minister


78 days Productivity Linked Bonus was announced during cabinet meeting of Central Government on 08.10.2015. But ceiling remained same i.e. Rs. 3500. Keeping same ceiling attracted lots of anguish and concern from railway employees. AIRF too had demanded scrapping of Ceiling. Therefore AIRF has once again reiterated its stand on ceiling removal and General Secretary/AIRF has written a D.O. letter to Sh. Suresh Prabhu Minister for Railways in this respect.

Respected Shri Suresh Prabhu Ji,
Sub: Removal of ceiling of PLB to the Railwaymen
While thanking you for announcing payment of 78 days PLB to the Railwaymen for the year 2014-15, we demand removal of ceiling of PLB from Rs.3500, considering favourably the apathy of the Railway employees as also dedicated hard working of the Railwaymen.
We earnestly hope that, your good honour shall pursue this demand of the Railwaymen with the concerned.
