Minutes of the meeting of the Steering Committee on PFRDA Bill, held on 29th
August, 2011 in AIRF office
In the
meeting of the Steering Committee on PFRDA Bill, held on 29th August,
2011 in AIRF office, the undernoted programme was chalked out unanimously to
lodge protest against government's move on New Pension Scheme.
(i)
Formation of joint committee in every station with the units of the
participating organizations in the Steering Committee.
(ii)
Conducting conventions, wherever not held, and date of which be advised
to the Headquarters.
(iii)
To start signature campaign by involving all the membership and as many
people as possible including
family
members. The signature campaign should be on public places, like railway
stations, hospitals etc.
(iv)
To prepare and mobilize for
"March
to Parliament" on 25th November, 2011.
(v)
To educate the membership on the perils of PFRDA Bill and prepare them
for a two-hour demonstration on the day the Bill is taken-up for consideration
by the Parliament.
All of
you are requested to take appropriate action in regard to the above, and the
report of the action taken be advised to AIRF promptly. A copy of the minutes of
the meeting held on 29.8.2011 is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
