Correction Notice in Employment Notice for recruitment against Group 'D' posts in N.E. Railway, DLW/Varanasi & RDSO/Lucknow
In reference to the Employment Notification published in various dailies on 15.12.2010 and in Employment News on 25-31 December 2010, following informations are modified to be read as under;
1. Mode of Selection: Para 13 may be read as The recruitment procedure consists of written Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of candidates found successful in written test. After which Document Verification and Medical Examination of short listed candidates shall be conducted instead of The recruitment procedure consists of Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by written Examination, Document Verification and Medical Examination.
2. With reference to the corrigendum published against this employment notice on 15.12.2010 wherein 119 No. of posts of RDSO Lucknow have been added, candidates may mention their preference for RDSO Lucknow against order of preference in box-6 of column 13 of the application format which is for DLW Varanasi.
3. Date & Time closing: Due to above changes in the recruitment procedure, the closing date for receipt of applications is extended, which is to be read as 18.00 hrs. of 16.03.2011 instead of 18.00 hrs. of 16.02.2011. For residents of Andman & Nicobar, lakshadweep islands - Closing Date & Time will be 18.00 hrs of 31.03.2011 instead of 18.00 hrs of 04.03.2011.
4. The employment notice / correction notice may be seen / down loaded from N.E. Railway's new website: http://www.ner.indianrailways.gov.in/
Other information contained in the referred Employment Notice will remain the same.
