Payment of arrears on account of revision of pay scales under the Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2009

Subject - Payment of arrears on account of revision of pay scales under
the Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2009.

1. On the subject cited above, I am directed to say that vide this Department's letters of even number dated 19 th March, 2010 and 2 nd November, 2010 out of the total arrears accrued on account of revision of pay
scales, an amount of Rs. 10,000/- on each occasion has been ordered to be paid to the State Government employees. Thus out of the total arrears accrued on account of revision of pay scales, a sum of ~ 20,000/- has already been paid.

2. The matter regarding payment of balance amount of arrears was under active consideration of the Government for the past some time. Now after careful consideration, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order that the balance amount of arrears shall be paid in the following manner to the employees of the State Government:

(i) Class-IV employees shall be paid 100% amount of the arrears including the amount of ~ 20,000 already paid.

(ii) Class-III employees shall be paid 40% of the total arrears including the amount of ~ 20,000/- already paid.

(iii) Class-I and II Officers shall be paid the 30% of the total arrear including the amount of ~ 20,000/- already paid.
