The central Government employees are expecting a Good Dearness Allowance
rise from 1st January 2011.
It is expected that atleast 6%
increase in DA will be there from Jan 2011.
- Present DA Rate 45%.
- Expected increase: 6%.
- Expected DA rate from Jan 2011: 51%.
The calculation is based on the
AICPIN published by labour Bureau, Government of India. For the month
November 2010 the AICPIN stands at 182. For December, the results will come
only at the end of month of January 2011. If AICPIN reaches at 185
in December Government employees would likely to get 6% DA.
Once the DA rate touches 50%, the allowances like conveyance allowance,
children education allowance etc will be increased 25% more. The
final picture will come in the end of January 2011 only.
