Indian Ordnance Factories, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, Ordnance Factory Bhusawal (MS) - 425203 invites applications for Group 'C' post of Durwan & Fireman.

(A). Durwan - 5 Posts  (ST-01, OBC-01, UR-03)


Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-


Qualification: Matriculation or Equivalent Pass


Age Limits: 20 - 27 Years


Selection Procedures: 
 a). Measurement of Physical Standards
 b). Screening Test
 c). Written Test

Note: 


1.Must be physically fit for the duties of Durwan as per specified standard indicated below,
  a) Height: Without shoes 165cms
  b) Chest : Unexpanded 77cms, expanded 82 cms
  c) Weight: 45kgs 
2.Desirable: Ex-Serviceman Matriculation. Three years service as Home Guard/Civil Defence volunteers and training in at least basic and refresher courses in Home Guard and Civil Defence.
3.Measurement of physical standards - as per specified in the SRO
4. Screening Test - Screening Test shall be done only for those candidates who qualify in the measurement of physical standards.
5.Running of 10 meters in 15 seconds. This is the next Screening Test. Those who qualify will be called for Written Test. 
6.Written Test syllabus - Objective Type General Intelligence, General Awareness, English language & Numerical Aptitude. 


(B). Fireman - 1 Post (OBC-01)
 Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
Qualification: Matriculation or Equivalent Pass
Age Limits: Not exceeding 35 Years
Selection Procedures: 
 a). Measurement of Physical Standards
 b). Endurance Test
 c). Written Test

Note: 
1.Must have adequate knowledge of operational use of Fire-Fighting equipment. Must be physical fit and capable of performing strenuous duties. This requirement will be tested as under,
  a) Height: Without shoes 165cms
  b) Chest : Unexpanded 81.5 cms
  c) Weight: Minimum 50kgs  
2.Endurance Test - Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 mtrs. within 96 seconds). Clearing 2.7 mtrs. wide ditch landing on both feet (long jumps) Climbing 3 metrs. vertical rope using hands and feet.
3.Measurement of physical standards - as per specified in the SRO
4.Endurance Test - as per specified in the SRO Endurance Test shall be done only for those candidates who qualify in the measurement of physical standards.
5.Running of 10 meters in 15 seconds. This is the next Screening Test. Those who qualify will be called for Written Test. 
6.Written Test syllabus - Objective Type General Intelligence, General Awareness & General Awareness on Fire-Fighting.
