Karnataka state Govt., employees DA hiked up to 10.25%

   SHIMOGA: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said here on Wednesday that the Government had raised the dearness allowance for its employees by 10.25 per cent.

   The Chief Minister announced this after laying the foundation for the new building of the Shimoga District State Government Employees' Association.
  
   The Chief Minister said the date of implementation of the hike would be announced soon.

   President of the Karnataka State Government Employees' Association L. Byrappa presided over the function.

   President of the district unit of the association Raghuram Devadiga was present.

   Mr. Yeddyurappa inaugurated the new office of the district retired State government employees' association.
