Government officers caught drinking on camera



Wardha, Maharashtra: Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary was celebrated throughout the nation on Saturday but residents of Wardha district which was Mahatma's home in Maharashtra, got a shock that day to find four senior government officials consuming alcohol and that too inside a government office.

The incident ironically was reported from a place associated with Mahatma Gandhi, Wardha in Maharashtra, and that too on Gandhi Jayanti. This district happens to be the only one in Maharashtra that prohibits sale and consumption of alcohol.

The officers were caught drinking on Gandhi Jayanti after police along with media raided the government office. The officers are absconding after the incident.
