BMS not to back trade unions’ strike call on September 7

Bhartiya  Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) today said it boycotted the Central Trade Unions’ Convention  and delinked itself from their call for a country-wide strike on September 7 as  there was no mutual understanding over fixing of the date of the agitation.

The BMS, the  trade union front of BJP, however, made it clear that it too disfavours the  government’s economic policy and has decided to organise “huge” agitational  programmes across the country from August 25 which will include demonstrations  and rallies in the industrial areas to protest price rise and other issues  affecting the working class]
