Consolidated instructions on deputation of Officers

   The Ministry of Personnel,  Public Grievances and Pensions, has observed that the  instructions were issued vide OM No. 2/29/91-Estt.(PayII) dated  05.01.1994 concerning transfer on deputation of foreign service  of Central Government Employees to ex-cadre posts under the  Central Government/ State Governments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies,  Universities/ UT Administration, Local Bodies etc. and the  Regulation of pay, Deputation (duty) Allowance, tenure of  deputation/ foreign service and other terms and conditions  thereon and amended by instructions from time to time.

   The Ministry further observed  that there was a necessity to put all the instructions in one  place and issue a consolidated and updated OM in supercession of  earlier orders, with suitable modifications. The provisions regarding the  definition of various terms, application of these rules, the  date from which effective etc. are contained in OM itself. For further details
