New Delhi, Nov 3 (PTI) Revising the transfer guidelines of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) teachers, the Government today approved certain amendments like giving fair chance to every employee to get a choice posting and placement in "hard stations" both for men and women teachers.
At the same time, it also cleared the way for KVs to conduct skill development courses in campuses everyday by making optimum utilisation of the infrastructure and introducing foreign language programme starting with German.
The decisions was taken at the 89th meeting of the board of governors of KV sangathan chaired by HRD Minister Kapil Sibal. Sources said the guiding principles of the transfer policy would give every teacher a "fair chance of getting a choice posting but in a transparent manner".

its not fair for women
ReplyDeleteIt is not fair , why KVS has made its employees experimental animals specially women employees and spouse cases. In existing policy this year only posted the women/retianing at the spouse station.Same happened earlier to define the displacement of juniors.? KVS should stop all this nuisance for Gods sake.
ReplyDeleteAs per KVS old transfers guidelines most of the teachers especially women teachers who were displaced in 2001 to 2003come back to their choice place after completing 6 months or after two years but below three years keeping in mind that they have completed their tenure. But the new transfer guidelines they are also targeted to displaced and counting their seniority from their joining in the kv. Then we want to know why the old transfer policy with 6 monts tenure was made. Next year this policy may change and can say that 5 years stay is necessary for fresh posting count. There is no stability and new policy cant supersede the old policy in which the teachers were given privileges. Privileges and benefits can't be withdrawn. This policy with three years stay at any station may be effective from the policy date and not from 30 years back or so on.
